Submit Your Theme App for Validation

After registration, your Theme app must pass validation certification by Samsung in order to be distributed through the Samsung Themes Store

After registering your Theme app with the Samsung Galaxy Apps Seller Office, submit it for validation by Samsung. If your Theme app passes, it is distributed in the Samsung Theme Store, as a free or paid app through the Samsung Theme Store. You manage Theme app distribution and your finances through the Samsung Seller Office. If your Theme app fails validation, you will be notified of the reasons. You can make suitable changes and resubmit your Theme app for validation.

To submit a registered Theme app for validation:

  • Your Theme app registration must be complete.

  • Get the following (if applicable):

    • Commercial production parameter information
    • Information needed to make appropriate field entries
  1. Log in to your Samsung Seller Office account:
    1. In a browser, navigate to the Samsung Seller Office website (
    2. If necessary, log in to your Seller Office account with your Samsung account email ID and password.

      Note: You are automatically logged out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
  2. Determine whether or not the current theme registration information is sufficient to permit submission:
    • If all required theme registration fields have entries, the Submit button will be red.
    • If one or more required fields are blank, the Submit button will be gray.
    1. To identify the required fields that are blank:
      1. Click Submit
      2. In The application cannot not be submitted popup:
        1. Review and note the required fields that are blank.
        2. Click Close.
  3. Ensure all required theme registration fields contain proper entries.
  4. Click Submit.
    Note: The compatibility and consistency of each field will be checked. Some entries may be automatically excluded. You may need to change some entries (see Theme App Policy and Requirements).
  5. If entries are automatically deleted or changed, and/or changes must be made:
    1. A Notice popup is displayed with related information; for example:
    2. Review the displayed information, especially related to changes that must be made.
    3. Click OK.
    4. Make all necessary changes (see Theme App Policy and Requirements).
    5. Click Submit.
  6. If the Notice popup is displayed again, repeat step Error! Reference source not found....
  7. In the Do you want to submit the application popup, click Yes:

Note: The first phase of validation, which evaluates content and basic functions, typically takes about one business day.  Theme apps that pass the first phase are then distributed while they undergo the second and final phase, which evaluates advanced functions.  Theme apps that pass the second phase continue to be distributed.
